Big projects everywhere! Oh my! – News – 4th of August 2024

It’s been a bit quieter here on this website huh? Well that has to do with the fact that my current creative energy is all guided towards the “Bane Of The Talebearer” project which is going to be the next TDW album and multi-disciplinary media project. This project will cover a new album, a podcast/audio drama and (hopefully!) a videogame, so this is pretty big!

Therefore I decided to make a seperate website for that project, so that all that info can be found in one place. You can find that website at:

So please, check out that website if you want to know more about this project! And in the meantime, feel free to browse this site to learn all about my music career and the many things I have done over time!

Also, if you check the BLOG section, you might find a thing or two about a new TDW album that I am also working on while this big project is taking place. 😉

I WROTE 74 SONGS FOR 1 PROJECT (TDW Update May 2024)
Official game and soundtrack website: https://talebearer.net Have you heard the story of the musician that decided to write a soundtrack to a non-existent videogame, which became much bigger than he anticipated it to be? ... No? Well, now you do! A project that I have been working on in relative silence for about a year now and which has taken a much bigger shape over time. My next musical project is a musical experiment and soundtrack to a videogame called 'Bane Of The Talebearer'! Bane of The Talebearer is a videogame concept and story written by yours truly (Tom de Wit) which is made as a love letter to big jRPG games I grew up on as a kid. It's the soundtrack I heard in my head for a videogame for a long time that I am finally creating as a real life piece of art outside of the confines of my head. And in this video I will tell you all about the hows and whys of this project and what my plans are with this. All music heard in this video is in a pre-production state and will evolve over time.
