Biography
Pipi Gogerl is an Austrian vocalist, vocal coach and voice actor based in Vienna. A versatile singer comfortable across clean melodic singing, metal growls and screams, jazz, pop and rock, she works as a session singer and voice-over artist and runs her own home studio where she records and mixes vocals. She is best known in the progressive metal scene as the singer of British prog band Novena, which she joined in June 2022 (debuting on the video for “Ghosts” and performing at UK Tech Fest), and for her work with prog metal acts Ancient Fragments and Question of Eternity. In 2025 she also toured as a session vocalist with the Vienna-based band Vulvarine.
Outside of recording and performing, she teaches singing and speech training in and around Vienna, covering vocal technique, voice production and DAW work (Logic Pro, Cubase, Reaper), under the motto that “bad singers don’t exist.”
