Biography
Abraham Sarache is a Venezuelan-Dutch singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Working in modern progressive rock, prog metal and alternative rock, he is best known for pioneering the use of the Venezuelan cuatro as a lead instrument in rock and metal contexts, adapting the traditional folk instrument into both acoustic and electric roles. He released his debut concept album “The Gardener” in 2016 and has since built a catalogue including “Kaleidoscope of Dreams,” “Kaleidoscope of Fears” and “A Book of Regrets,” performing both as a solo act and with a live band.
He has toured the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the UK and played venues and festivals such as Melkweg, ProgPower Europe and Totum Revolutum, earning press coverage from outlets including Metal Hammer and The Progspace.
