Biography
Koen “Vuurdichter” Romeijn is a Dutch guitarist and multi-instrumentalist best known as a guitarist of the folk metal band Heidevolk, which he joined in 2015. He first made his name in the technical/melodic death metal band Detonation, where he performed as vocalist and rhythm guitarist from the band’s beginnings in the late 1990s. Over the years he has also been associated with other Dutch metal acts including Apophys, Disquiet, Engorge and Cardamon.
Beyond music, Romeijn is also active as a writer/publisher and painter, reflecting a broader creative practice alongside his work as a guitarist.
