Biography
Chris Zoupa is a Melbourne-based Australian guitarist, teacher, songwriter and part-time producer with over two decades of teaching experience. He performed with Australian progressive rock/metal band Teramaze for many years, and has also performed with Tremedy, Giants Under The Sun and Bellusira.
Beyond performing, Zoupa is widely known as a guitar educator through his YouTube channel “Chris Zoupa / Learn That Solo,” dedicated to rock and metal lead guitar and solos, which has built a following of well over a hundred thousand subscribers. He teaches students worldwide via what he calls “The Zoupa Method,” has written instructional articles for Ultimate-Guitar, and has authored several guitar method books through Fundamental Changes Publishing, including titles such as “Rock Guitar Mode Mastery,” “Creative Shred Guitar Exercises” and “Exotic Scales for Rock Guitar Soloing.”
