Biography
Chad Bernatchez is a Canadian-born metal singer, guitarist and songwriter who began performing after moving to Montreal in 2016. Following four years fronting the band Abandon Time, he launched a solo project, releasing albums including Dark Paradise (2021), Crusader (2022) and Welcome to the System (2022). His writing draws on progressive metal influences such as Dream Theater, Opeth, Haken and Devin Townsend.
He is the vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the progressive metal band Voidchaser, now based between Montreal and Stockholm, whose concept album Interstellar I was released in 2026.
