Biography
Judith van den Wijngaart is a Dutch singer and voice professional. Alongside her performing work she is trained as a speech-language therapist (logopedist) and voice specialist, having studied Speech Therapy and Drama at the Fontys Academy in Eindhoven.
Her musical background reaches back to her youth, when she sang for years with the ambitious children’s/youth choir De Oosterhoutse Nachtegalen, recording albums, appearing on television and touring at home and abroad. She has since continued to sing in musicals, improvisation groups, vocal ensembles and rock bands, and developed her craft through programs including the Vocal and Dance Academy in The Hague, a CVT singing course at the Utrecht Conservatory, EVTS training, and a post-HBO study in voice specialism (2010-2012). She has also worked as a voice teacher at the Maastricht drama academy and at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
