Biography
Luca Di Gennaro is an Italian keyboardist, composer and sound designer from Naples, best known as the keyboard and synthesizer player of the progressive metal band Soul Secret, which he joined in 2006. Starting out on classical guitar before moving to piano and synthesis through his love of progressive rock, he has become known for the rich textures and arrangements he brings to Soul Secret records such as Flowing Portraits (2008), Closer To Daylight (2011), 4 (2013), Babel (2017) and Blue Light Cage (2020).
Alongside his band work he is active as a solo artist and composer, releasing the album The 2nd Coming (2022) on Lion Music and writing soundtracks for indie video games. He is also well known online for his YouTube series Just with a Moog, arranging iconic tracks on the Moog Sub 37, with presets featured on the official Moog Music site.
