Biography

Martine Mussies is a Dutch multi-instrumentalist and musicologist based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. A trained pianist with cello and flute as further specialisms, she works across classical, baroque, pop, rock and folk, performing both as a soloist and as a guest and studio musician. Her solo and collaborative releases include the lockdown project HomeStrung, Medievalisms (2023), and 海の音楽 / “Sea Music” (2024), and she has been involved in ensembles such as the Domcantorij at the Domkerk in Utrecht.
