Biography
Tristan Turner is a Scottish bass guitarist from Edinburgh Scotland. He is best known as the bassist (and backing vocalist) of the progressive metal band Abraham Sarache, which he joined in 2016. Fronted by Venezuelan musician Abraham Sarache, the band built a reputation for energetic, technically accomplished live shows, touring the Netherlands, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom across 2022 and 2023. Turner plays a range of bass instruments, including electric, fretless and acoustic bass as well as cello bass, and has released bass playthrough videos for Abraham Sarache tracks such as “Reflections” and “Sentiment Analysis.”
A lifelong video game enthusiast with a particular fondness for J/RPGs and the early Final Fantasy titles, Turner was drawn to the project’s scope and its evocation of “high-energy, massive-personality” game soundtracks.
